Testimonies: Reuniting with long lost love

Imagine being a 23 year old girl with updo of sunset red, working 9-5 trying to make ends meet, helping parents in a struggling business, and in rides the handsome prince on the Harley who was dating the girl next door to our shop. Mikey was always such a big flirt.. He flirted with all the girls back then. I was one of the lucky ones. I asked him one hot steamy night in Miami for a ride on his Harley he said why of course!..secretly admitting to himself ” I’ve got another notch in my belt to fill.” It was a mid summer night’s dream. We rode endlessly for hours in the hot humid air. We cruised the beach, rode desolate roads and cramped highways. We rode from Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale and back probably 100 times. Somewhere in between ice cream being seductively eaten, to a good night kiss I fell in love with this man. Our rides became a nightly occurrence. Nighttime rides turned into daytime lunches and soon we were in separable. We spent ever waking minute together. We fell in love.. He loved me like no other could ever. He was my handsome prince. Tall, thick dark Greek hair, a hairy chest, long legs, addictive laughter, and a face full of fantastic melt in your arms smiles. And as the story goes. I apparently asked him to marry me. (I don’t remember this. But . )

We planned a wedding in his home town of Pittsburgh I always considered Pittsburgh my home as I went to college there, and fell passionately in love with the city, the Steelers and the Penguins.

Six weeks later.. off we were to get married. Except one huge issue popped up I forgot to tell my family I was going. I lied to my mother and father and told them we were going on vacation together. We loaded the van, motorcycle, wedding gown, toasting glasses and of course the camera and off we went. Somewhere in the hills of Georgia we got pulled over by the Hwy patrol for speeding. Well of course we were speeding.. we were doing the nasty driving down hwy 75. Sheriff Buford T Sheriff pulled us over..with me wearing nothing but a blanket what a way to start a journey to elope..

Fast forward to our beautiful wedding white gown groomsmen, flower girls and of course a handsome groom So tall, so handsome waiting for me at the end of the aisle. It was everything I grew up dreaming about. As girls we are taught from a very early age we are princesses and the handsome prince does exist.. The big beautiful wedding we dream about, the one where we play dress up and pretend we are brides I had that
