I want the fairytale wedding !
The little girl’s dream has stayed with me, I really want the perfect fairytale wedding. The vision is clear. I grow up, and I am swept away by the man of my childhood dreams.
How do I see my wedding ? I have the vision of fairytale perfection .
Now I am marrying the one I love, the fairytale will be complete.
I want the princess dress, I want to feel special, I want it all! I want our marriage to have the perfect start. I dream of being that princess, just for one day.
Growing up I always saw my wedding in my dreams. A big white traditional wedding with all our friends and family, I will be the centre of it all. The bride who everyone will admire and marvel at. I will be that princess !
A sweeping Cinderella dress, a fairytale gown with countless layers of tulle and pure white silk. I sparkle with diamonds in my tiara and am adorned with fine sparkling jewels. My updo will be in ringlets, some up , some down, petals scattered amongst the curls.
I strive to be the vision of romance for my prince. I want him to feel proud.
My groom will be dressed in a classic black tuxedo, the image of a real romantic hero.
I will have three or four bridesmaids, flower girls, beautifully dressed up in princess dresses to follow behind me to look after my flowing train. Maybe a pageboy in a mini black tuxedo.
There will be flower baskets festooned with ribbons and bows, rose petals to scatter as I amble over a carpet of petals , gliding down the isle. The church will be dimly lit with classic white candles. The perfect setting for the cementing of our vows.
I will arrive in true fairytale style in a horse and carriage. To be presented to my prince
I have chosen the flowers in my dreams, the great big rosy red blooms of the perfect red rose will be everywhere.
The cake will be shaped like a castle with at least three tiers and have red roses cascading down.
The centre pieces of our tables will have ruby red velvet cushions with glass slippers on. A shower of rose petals adorn the tables providing a carpet of romance to feast the eye.
Everyone will be there to watch my special day. I will feel so proud. Everyone will be able to share in our happiness. There will be a big table with presents and a banquet fit for a King.
At the reception ball , I will waltz with my prince, he will sweep me of my feet. We will dance the night away in blissful contentment for the first few hours of our betrothal.
The photographs will be taken in the gardens of the stately home, where we enjoy our reception , it will be our castle. The bride and groom under the trees, by the glistening lake. Perfect mementoes of a fairytale wedding.
A lavish affair with all the trimmings, a day for us to remember for the rest of our lives. Money no object and my fairytale wedding would be a reality.
