If you have short hair, you don’t have to stick to your every day style for your wedding. There are a lot of elegant hairstyles and accessories that can add glamor and charm on your special day. Short hair does not restrict the bride-to-be to looking her ultimate best. In fact, there are just as many creative styles for short hair as there is for long hair.

1) The Up-Do for Short Hair. With a few twists and turns, a couple extra bobby pins, the perfect amount of hairspray, and a skilled stylist, you can make even the shortest hair look like the cover of a bridal magazine.

2) Adding Accessories. Delicate flowers, decorative hair pins, veils and tiaras, as well as garlands are additions that can create a fresh and charming look for your wedding day. and they work perfectly with short hair. You can also choose from side-swept bangs or lots of small curls. Headbands are also very trendy and look fabulous with short hair. Avoid wearing a heavy tiaras and accessories as they will be difficult to fix into shorter hair,and run the risk of falling out.

3)Long Hair for the Day. If your hair is medium/short you may also want to think about the option of fake hair. You can have the classic bridal up-do by sweeping your natural hair back and adding a matching hair piece in the fashion of your choice.

4) Bangs. If you have bangs you can use them to create a glamorous side swept appearance. A nice gloss finish always perfects this style, as well as adding a headband, tiara, or decorative garland to finish the look.

5) Adding Color. I would warm most brides to be to say away from a new hair color before the wedding day. However, adding a few extra highlights is a nice way to add texture to the hair and brighten up the face. If you do decide to add highlights do so at least a week before the wedding, in case you aren’t completely satisfied.
