Bridesmaids dresses and choosing the right ones

Bridal Makeup

Bridesmaid dresses.

When I started looking at getting married I knew that I wanted my sister and two best friends to be my bridesmaids.

Things to a turn and my sister had a little girl of two, when we eventually managed to book our ceremony and she was pregnant again being due a month before our wedding.

So now my bridesmaids are my two best-friends and my niece.

It has made us even closer as we have spent much time deliberating over wedding plans, hairstyles, make-up, dresses etc.

With the adults bridesmaid dresses I have chosen the color, but left them to choose the style. As they are paying for their own dresses, due to my tight budget. I though it was only fair for them to do this. I have put a contribution in toward the overall costs of their dresses.

We spent hours looking through bridal magazines and unbelievably found the Internet a huge resource of ideas, when using Google images. It just gave us an idea of what we were after.

Eventually we decided on Cerise dresses from Debenhams at 100 each. The girls look stunning and are thinking of either selling the dresses on EBay or dyeing them to make prom dresses afterward. Which seems resourceful to me?

As for my Niece she is now Three years old and we decided that she would be better in an ivory dress to match mine, as she is very pale. I managed to find one at Matalan for 14.99 which looks stunning on here and what a bargain!

We are going to accent her dress with a cerise sash!

I am really looking forward to seeing them all in their dresses together and only 12 weeks to go till my wedding! Phew…it’s coming fast!
