Bridesmaid dress ideas for a beach wedding – Part 4
Listen up girls! If you’re going to be in a beach wedding party, don’t wear the stilettos. It’s got to be flat shoes or no shoes at all and that means an outfit to match.
Long dresses are out too as these will just drive you crazy with the breeze blowing and the sand catching the hemline.
A beach wedding would look terribly out of place with the guys wearing tuxedos and the girls in the usual pink bridesmaids dresses. If the beach is the place, the outfits have to have some co-relation to the occasion.
How about a nice Hawaiian wedding with the flowers in the hair, the garlands and the half coconuts strategically placed? Some beautiful Hawaiian music playing in the background as the father of the bride walks his daughter down to the seashore to join hands with her prospective husband.
What a beautiful serene picture of the gorgeous bride dressed in her grass skirt, the bridesmaids with different colored grass skirt, all wearing garlands and the groom and best man standing there in their loin cloths and beads.
The bridesmaids are a major attraction too at weddings attracting the attention of the groomsmen who are also kitted out in their loin cloths for the occasion.
The Hawaiian weeding could feature the bridesmaids dancing and swaying to the music and perhaps a steel band could join in the celebratory music.
The outfit worn by the bridesmaids could be finished off with the little floral headband and the necklace of colored beads to give it that authentic Hawaiian feel.
A wedding on the beach sounds like a great idea, but does have its problems.
The beach would be a wonderful place if it wasn’t for the sand. It gets everywhere. The food may seem a little crunchy at times. You may have to spend a bit of time cleaning between your toes if you fancy a dance or two.
Make sure to check on the times for the incoming tide or your beautiful outfits will become a soggy mess.
Entering into matrimony on the beach sounds romantic and it can be if everyone gets into the spirit of the occasion, though there are probably some people you wouldn’t want to see in a grass skirt or loin cloth.
You can keep them on the promenade as long as the bridesmaids look the part.
